We have a small shed of guineapigs,

though it is frequently larger than it ought to be.

Our pigs are all family pets, cuddled and groomed by all of us - though it is I who does all of the dirty work. It all started after we piggysat a friends crested golden agouti boar 'Grass', we then aquired Fifi, a silver rex sow for Megan, Twinkle a peruvian sow for Lucy and Pompom a one eyed hairy thing for Graham.

Next came the Argentes, I fell in love with them whilst browsing the cavybreeders website. I was lucky enough to pick up my first breeding pair Hamish and Olivia, from the wonderful Wendy Powell in Stratford. Wendy has done a great deal for the Argente Breed and I am delighted to have met so kind a lady. I have met many wonderful and deliciously excenteric people since entering the extraordinary sub-culture of the fancy, it has been a while since I have felt so at home. They are a welcoming lot, helpful, friendly and freely giving of their advice and experience, to anyone thinking of taking up this compelling and wholley absorbing hobby I recommend a visit to your local Cavy Club Show and to those already hooked - my thanks.

This site is designed with and for the children we hope that you enjoy your visit.
